ANKARA (AA) - Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on Monday met with Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sabah al-Khalid al-Hamad al-Sabah in Ankara.
Davutoglu and al-Sabah met at the Turkish Presidential Palace after accompanying Turkish President and Kuwaiti Amir earlier in the day.
Diplomatic sources told the AA that Monday's meeting constituted a crucial phase in bilateral relations and that both sides expressed pleasure over developing bilateral relations with eight agreements signed.
Davutoglu and al-Sabah underlined the presence of a political will on both sides to develop already excellent relations and discussed cooperation in international organizations.
Davutoglu conveyed to al-Sabah that Turkey wished for more cooperation in economic and financial matters and wanted to see more Turkish businesspeople and contractors in more projects.
Ahmet Davutoglu and al-Sabah exchanged views on Syria and discussed the developments in Cyprus.
