WASHINGTON
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu met on Monday UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and Arab League Secretary General Nabil Elaraby in New York.
Turkish FM Davutoglu is continuing to hold talks within the scope of the 67th term meetings of the United Nations in New York.
Firstly having a talk with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, Davutoglu later met Arab League Secretary General Nabil Elaraby.
Undersecretary of Turkish Foreign Ministry Feridun Siniroglu, Turkey's permanent representative at UN Ertugrul Apakan also accompanied Davutoglu.
Davutoglu also had a talk with Romania's Foreign Minister Titus Corlatean.
Turkish fm meets South Sudanese counterpart Nhial
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on Monday met with South Sudanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Nhial Deng Nhial in New York.
Davutoglu's meeting with Nhial took place on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly's 67th term meetings.
Following their meeting, the two ministers signed a memorandum of understanding whereby the holders of diplomatic passports would be mutually able to travel visa-free between the two countries.
The ministers also signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Diplomacy Academy of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and the Diplomacy Institute of the South Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
