KIRKUK
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu met officials of Syrian National Council (SNC) and Kurdish National Council of Syria (KNCS) in Kirkuk on Thursday.
The meeting took place in the office of Massoud Barzani, leader of the regional administration in Iraq's north.
Recent developments in Syria were discussed during the meeting which was closed to press.
Davutoglu is the first Turkish FM ever to visit Kirkuk and he is the first senior Turkish official to set foot in the city in 75 years.
