Selçuk Unal added that Erdogan's righteous concern was solely on Iraqi people's well-being.
In a written statement Unal said that the raving at the Iraqi Prime Ministry web site on Erdogan's statements shows that the Iraqi Prime Ministry, losing its hold on realities, confused the situation in Turkey and Iraq.
The statement said that Iraqi premier should both consider the concerns expressed by the political parties in Iraq and adopt a policy embracing all the Iraqi citizens instead of imaginary determinations on Turkey.
Turkey would like to foster the bilateral relations but it was up to the Iraqi government to show whether Iraq has the same desire, it added.
