BAKU (AA) - July 19, 2012 - Turkish Transportation, Maritime Affairs and Communication Minister Binali Yildirim has said that Anadolu Agency (AA) was providing "AA (A+)" service.
Speaking to AA correspondent on Thursday in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku, Minister Yildirim said that AA's test broadcasting was very exciting.
"Anadolu Agency's broadcasting in different languages implies that what is taking place in Turkey would be learned by all people in the corners of the world. The agency is providing A+ service," said Yildirim.
Yildirim also said that AA deserved broadcasting in more different languages.
Economy Minister Caglayan: AA's Russian edition of great importance
Turkish Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan said on Thursday that the Anadolu Agency's (AA) Russian edition services were of great importance for Turkey in the international platform.
Speaking to AA correspondent in Tokyo, Caglayan said that they attached a great importance to AA's and Turkey's state-run television TRT's broadcasting in different languages.
Meanwhile, Development Minister Cevdet Yilmaz said that Turkey and Russia had sound relations, stating that AA's Russian edition would contribute to those relations.
AA's broadcasting in different languages would also contribute to promotion of Turkey, he said.
AA began broadcasting news in Bosniac on March 11 and it continues its test broadcast in Arabic.
AA's Russian edition pleasing, says Turkish customs & trade minister
Turkish Customs & Trade Minister Hayati Yazici has said that he was very pleased with Anadolu Agency's (AA) test broadcasting in Russian.
Releasing a statement on Thursday, Minister Yazici stated that AA was the most significant news sources for Turkish community since it was established in 1920.
Stating that AA was renewing itself swiftly to become a worldwide news agency, "I am very pleased with AA's test broadcasting in Russian after English, Bosniac and Arabic edition services. It will remove the borders with people who live in Russia and other Turkic republics, and strengthen cultural and commercial ties," said Yazici.
Minister Yazici thanked the Director General of AA, Kemal Ozturk, its staff members and everyone involved in the achievements.
