A Turkish Airlines (THY) passenger aircraft which made an emergency landing in Morocco earlier on Sunday will soon continue its flight to Brazil's Sao Paulo, a Moroccan official source told Anadolu Agency.
The plane had made an emergency landing at Casablanca Airport due to an unclaimed tablet computer.
The tablet, whose owner did not come forth, was found on a seat on flight number TK-15, which took off from Ataturk Airport in the morning with 229 passengers.
The cabin crew reported the situation to the captain.
After permission was granted in accordance with civil aviation procedures, the aircraft made an emergency landing in Casablanca.
The official source, who asked not to be named, said passengers were evacuated and security teams thoroughly inspected the plane.
Authorities concluded there were no threats to the safety of the airliner and gave it the green light to continue its scheduled flight to Brazil.
The airliner is expected to leave Casablanca later Sunday.
