GAZIANTEP (AA) - August 22, 2012 - Turkish President Abdullah Gul said on Wednesday that he hoped that multi-party parliamentary system in Kyrgyzstan would prove itself successfully.
"It is a very important development for Asia," Gul said before he left for Kyrgyzstan to attend the 2nd Summit of Cooperation Council of Turkic States in Bishkek.
President Gul said that during his visit to Kyrgyzstan, he would hold talks on cooperation in the areas of education, science and culture. Some agreements would also be signed during the summit, he said.
Gul added that all Turkish institutions were extending great support to Kyrgyzstan.
President Gul arrives in Kyrgyzstan
Abdullah Gul on Wednesday arrived in Kyrgyz capital of Bishkek.
Turkish National Education Minister Omer Dincer, several deputies, bureaucrats and journalists have also arrived in Bishkek with President Gul.
President Gul will attend the 2nd Summit meeting of Cooperation Council of Turkic States in Bishkek on Thursday.
