All of the Turkish dailies covered Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan's address to the nation on television channels and his warning against manipulations during the resolution process of Kurdish issue. Daily VATAN headlined, "We walk on fire" quoted PM Erdogan as saying, do not believe the lies fabricated to scare you. Daily MILLIYET said PM Erdogan is ready to give up everything to stop the shedding of a single drop of blood and said in regard to the apology of Israel, "We showed that we will not bow to injustice."
Some of the Turkish dailies covered the fires in homes of Turkish families in Germany. Daily TURKIYE said, "Is this a coincidence?" and reminded that after the apartment fire where a Turkish mother and seven of her children died in Germany, a house fire in Cologne left two dead and seven injured.
Daily TODAY'S ZAMAN headlined, "Two Killed In Turkish Home Fire In Germany, Racist Motive Suspected" and HURRIYET DAILY NEWS said, " Two killed in Turkish home fire in Germany".
Daily YENI SAFAK headlined "Israel on fire" and underlined that Israel planned after its apology to Turkey to fix its relations with the natural gas findings in Haifa. Daily SABAH said "Israel's joy of finding gas" and pointed out that Israel wants to transport and sell the natural gas in the Mediterranean Sea with a pipeline via Turkey to Europe.
