All of the Turkish dailies covered the statements of the leader of Turkey's ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in his regular party meeting with deputies on Tuesday. "We will bring disgrace on the foreign supporters of terror" headlined daily SABAH where Erdogan said, "We are giving a hard time to the supporters of terror. We will bring disgrace on them in front of the whole world." Erdogan also criticized the approach of two opposition parties People's Republican Party (CHP) and Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) in regards to the resolution of the Kurdish issue and said, "The language of MHP implies blood. We have come not to kill but to bring to life. Don't expect an apology from CHP. Israel will apologize but they won't. The respected people of Turkey, are not fooled by the provocations of Peace and Democracy Party (BDP), daily SABAH added. "Let warlords cry instead of mothers" added daily YENI SAFAK where Erdogan stated that those against the resolution of the Kurdish issue were saddened over the process. "The cry of those miserable people doesn't bother us. Let warlords cry as much as they like instead of mothers," Erdogan said.
Erdogan also touched on Israel's apology to Turkey over the Mavi Marmara raid. "I had missed the voice of Obama" headlined daily HURRIYET where Erdogan said, "I heard the voice of Netanyahu. Then I said that I had missed the voice of Obama and first wanted to speak with him. Afterwards came the apology from Netanyahu." "Stating that Israel's apology would shift balances in the Middle East, Erdogan said, "the point we have arrived at brings about a new equation in the Middle East. The equation will require Turkey in the peace process."
Dailies also covered the concert of Istanbul Symphony Orchestra and the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra in Istanbul on Tuesday to draw attention to the human tragedy in Syria. "A voice for the revolution" headlined daily YENI SAFAK and "Sarajevo's orchestra played for Syria" headlined daily ZAMAN over the concerts where the money collected will be donated to the Syrians in need.
