GAZIANTEP
A group of U.S. troops arrived in the south-eastern province of Gaziantep on Thursday to work on the deployment of Patriot air defense systems that were demanded by Turkey from NATO.
The U.S. troops arrived in Gaziantep in a Turkish Airlines (THY) passenger jet and were taken to their hotel by Turkish security forces.
The 27-member U.S. military group will conduct surveillance in Gaziantep on Friday for the deployment of Patriot defense systems.
