ANKARA
Uzbek Jahan News Agency's head Fazil Kokanbaev and an accompanying delegation visited Anadolu Agency (AA) Executive Board Chairman & Director General Kemal Ozturk on Monday.
Ozturk said that AA was the biggest news agency of the Middle East and Balkans, adding that AA's personnel number reached almost 720 with the newly beginning Arabian, Bosnian and Russian broadcasts.
Noting that AA published 700 news stories daily, Ozturk said that daily video broadcast reached 150.
AA will begin broadcast in Russian by the end of this month, said Ozturk.
He noted that there was an old agreement between AA and Jahan news agency, adding that AA was willing to revise and rearrange this agreement.
If mutual agreements are signed, AA wants to set up its own system in Uzbekistan and make direct broadcast in Russian, English, Turkish and Uzbek by the end of this year, said Ozturk.
On the other hand, Kokanbaev said that Jahan news agency had representations in many countries, adding that they broadcast 20 news daily.
Kokanbaev said that Jahan news agency would do its best to help AA's projects in Uzbekistan.
