Turkish President Erdogan welcomes Palestinian counterpart Abbas

ANKARA

Türkiye's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday welcomed his Palestinian counterpart Mahmoud Abbas at the presidential complex in the capital Ankara.

After their photo was taken, Erdogan and Abbas initiated a meeting.

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan was also present at the closed-door session.
