Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Friday discussed the relations between the two nations on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, said Türkiye's Communications Directorate.
During the meeting, Erdogan said that efforts are ongoing to secure lasting peace in the South Caucasus.
He added that operating the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line at full capacity would contribute to the efficiency of the Middle Corridor.
He noted that the two countries would continue taking steps to increase bilateral trade volume and further develop relations in many areas, especially cooperation in energy.
