Assad’s regime forces used heavy weapons in their operations against opponents in various cities Sunday killing 156 people, including 14 children and 19 women, according to Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR).
SNHR said that the regime forces raided the opposition controlled areas yesterday.
70 people from Aleppo, 31 from Hama, 20 from Homs, 8 from Idlib, 7 from Daraa, 13 from Damascus suburbs, 5 from Latakia, one each from Deru’z Zor and Suveyda were among the 156 people killed in the attacks.
The Local Coordination Committees of Syria reported that Syria army helicopters dropped 21 barrel bombs on Aleppo during the attacks and many buildings were damaged and demolished.
Syria army helicopters pounded Aleppo with barrel bombs, which caused casualties, many houses were destroyed, and Aleppo was turned into ruins, according to the report.
