The Syrians, mostly women and children, entered Turkey via Reyhanli town of southern Hatay province.

Dua Humme, a Syrian woman who gave birth to a baby boy ten days ago, said that Syrian soldiers were randomly opening fire in her village, adding that her husband did not join her as he was fighting for Free Syrian Army.
Noting that the clashes in the country were getting worse each day, Humme said that she had to take shelter in Turkey with her 10-day old baby.
Another Syrian citizen, Muhammed Sih, said that he heard noises of tanks as well as the voices of clashes near his village, and had to leave his home and take shelter in Turkey with his 13 family members.
