Syrian regime forces killed 91 people, including 11 children and six women, in operations Thursday against opponents in various cities, according to a watchdog group.
The London-based Syrian National Human Rights Watchdog (SNHR) said in a statement that President Bashar Assad’s forces raided opposition-controlled areas with heavy weaponry and killed 29 people in Daraa, 19 in Aleppo, 18 in Idlib, 13 in Homs, six in the suburbs of Damascus, and three each in Hama and Quneitra.
The SNHR also claimed that 13 of the deceased had been tortured by regime forces.
