ALEPPO
One of the biggest armed opposition groups of the Aleppo region in Syria, the Tevhid Guard Post opened their doors at their headquarters to the Anadolu Agency (AA).
Speaking to the AA, the Commander of the Tevhid Guard Post, Abdulaziz Selame said that they planned to "topple the Assad regime and celebrate two feasts in Ramadan".
The Tevhid Guard Post was established by soldiers who left Assad forces and later got bigger with the participation of civilians opposing Assad's military operations.
Members of the Tevhid Guard Post continue to attack Assad forces so they can end the Assad regime in the holy month of Ramadan.
"Syrian regime to end when cities fall"
"We have taken control of the rural areas of Aleppo. Now, what remains is central Aleppo," Selame said.
"The Syrian regime will end when cities fall one by one. In the next few days, we will liberate Aleppo. Many soldiers are defecting from the pro-Assad Syrian forces. We witnessed thousands of Syrian troops defecting from their units in only a month. They were fighting without believing in the cause. We are fighting for our religion and honor. We do plan to topple the Assad administration during Ramadan and celebrate two feasts," Selame stressed.
"Pills distributed to Syrian troops"
Mamun Kilzi, one of the commanders at the Tevhid Guard Post, said that he was injured in clashes in the Jarablus region.
"We are trying to protect our soil and humans. The army of the Syrian regime distributes pills to their troops so they can commit massacres. They hit people in Aleppo with tanks. They can not fight against us face to face. They will go away this month. God willing, we will celebrate two feasts in Ramadan," Kilzi stressed.
