Airbus Foundation and German NGO Luftfahrt Ohne Grenzen (LOG) sent aid materials to Syrian refugees living in Turkey.
In a joint written statement released on Tuesday, Airbus Foundation, LOG, Turkish Airlines (THY) and Fraport AG sent 35 tonnes of aid materials to Adana from the Frankfurt Airport in an A310-F cargo jet.
The aid materials were handed over to Turkish Red Crescent Aid Society (Turk Kizilayi).
Turk Kizilayi will distribute the aid materials to Syrians living around Adana.
The aid materials include food items, blankets, baby formula, diapers and medicines.
Three more trucks laden with relief material have been sent to Syria
Morevover, three trucks full of relief material for Syrians hit roads from Turkey's southeastern province of Sanliurfa.
Relief equaipment collected by "Help for Syria Platform" including food, medicine and clothing will be distributed to needed ones in war-torn Syria.
Chairman of the Help for Syria Platform added that with trucks, in total 39 trucks full of humanitarian aid were sent to Syria.
