All football games that were to be played in the Iranian Super League in Tehran and Saturday were cancelled due to heavy air pollution.
According to Iran's official IRNA news agency, some football games to be played in Tehran were postponed due to the air pollution.
Dates for three games to be played in Tehran will be announced later.
All schools and public institutions in Tehran will be closed on Saturday after air pollution began threatening the health of Tehran residents.
