A security officer was killed and two soldiers were wounded in an armed attack on a security check-point in Loder city in southern Yemen on Monday.
Yemeni authorities said Tuesday that security forces repelled the attack which was conducted by unidentified persons; however, a member of the people's committee, Mohamed Hussein, was killed and two soldiers were wounded in the armed attack.
Security forces said that no parties have claimed responsibility yet but Al Qaeda is suspected of being behind the armed attack.
