GAZIANTEP, Turkey
A married Belgian couple, along with their four-year-old child, were caught while trying to cross into Turkey at the Syrian border on Saturday.
A border patrol saw the family at Karkamis district in Turkey's southern Gaziantep province.
They had reportedly arrived to Iraq six months ago to cross into Syria's Raqqa in order to join Daesh, the Arabic acronym of ISIL.
The family will be deported, officials say.
Meanwhile, in the city's Oguzbeyli district, a member of the Daesh terror organization was arrested Friday, the Turkish General Staff announced.
