The Bosnia-Herzegovina leg of the "bread&blankent for Syria" international aid campaign began in Sarajevo on Wednesday with a press conference held at the headquarters of the Bosnian Confederation of Unions.
The international aid campaign in Bosnia-Herzegovina is being supported by the Bosnian Confederation of Unions, humanitarian aid organization Merhamet, the Red Cross Aid Society and various NGOs.
Speaking at the press conference, the Chairperson of the Bosnian Confederation of Unions, Ismet Bayramovic indicated that "we Bosnians know the value of bread and blanket. I am confident that the Bosnian people will extend great support to the campaign as we had close to a million refugees during the war of 1992-1995."
