CAIRO (AA) - Arab League Secretary General Nabil el-Araby congratulated the interim president Adly Mansour who was assigned after Morsi was ousted by military in Egypt.
Issuing a written statement, el-Araby said Egyptian people achieved a historic success towards overcoming the crisis and instability.
"I greet the Egyptian army willing in favour of the will of people and prioritizing the national interests of Egypt," he noted.
El-Araby also called upon the international community to support the process of democratization in Egypt, describing the current situation in Egypt as a milestone for the country.
