Presidential candidates' objection over the election results were rejected by the Supreme Presidential Elections Commission of Egypt.
According to the AA correspondent's source from the Supreme Presidential Election Commission, the candidates who filled objection applications were Ahmed Mohammed Shafik, Mohammed Abu El-Futuh, Hamdeen Sabahi and Mohammed Selim El-Ava whose applications were rejected by the commission.
According to unofficial and undeclared election results, the Freedom and Justice Party's (FJP) candidate Mohamed Morsi leads the presidential election with 25.2 percent, and in the second Ahmed Shafik the former Prime Minister of Egypt comes with 24.8 percent. Both candidates will compete on June 16 and 17 for the second round of the presidential elections.
Election results are expected to be announced this evening.
