ISTANBUL (AA) - July 30, 2012 - Free Syrian Army (FSA) has taken control of a military base that was in use by the regime supporters in the Aradan district of northern province Idlib, Syria.
In a statement released on Monday, FSA stated that following their onslaught for the military base they gained the control over it.
The FSA stated that there were three tanks and lots of ammunitions at the base.
The regime army was trying to breach the blockade with choppers, the FSA also stated.
Anadan is less than 10 minutes long distance by car from Aleppo, Syria's second-largest city. Anadan is home to much of the country's merchant middle class.
