Israeli army said Saturday that a rocket was fired from the Gaza Strip into southern Israel.
The rocket exploded in an open area in the Eshkol Regional Council, Israel Radio reported.
No injuries were reported.
On Friday, the Israeli army said that a total of 150 rockets had been fired on Israel from the Gaza Strip since the June 12 abduction of three Jewish teen settlers, whose bodies had been found later in southern West Bank.
Tension is running high on the Gaza-Israel border with the Israeli military aircraft launching several strikes against targets inside the Gaza Strip in reaction to what it called a surge in rocket attacks from the Palestinian enclave.
The violence also comes hard on the heels of the June 12 kidnapping and subsequent killing of three Israeli teens in the West Bank. A Palestinian teen was also kidnapped and murdered by suspected Jewish settlers in what it seems as a revenge attack.
Soon after the kidnapping of the teens, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused the Gaza-based Palestinian resistance movement Hamas of standing behind it.
Hamas, for its part, has repeatedly dismissed Israel's accusations, which have not been accompanied by any evidence.
