After the approval of deployment of NATO's air defense system in Turkey, the German cabinet agreed on Thursday to send Patriot missiles to Turkey.
Germany's cabinet, which gathered on Thursday in capital city Berlin, decided to send German soldiers who will be using Patriot missiles in Turkey.
Up to 400 German troops will be on duty as part of a NATO mission.
Along with the Patriot deployment and providing troops, the approval includes the use of Airborne Warning and Control Systems (AWACS).
The cabinet's decision is pending for the voting of the Germany's parliament.
The parliament will meet on December 14.
