Palestinian faction Hamas has denied reports about a planned visit by senior leader Moussa Abu Marzouq to Saudi Arabia.
"Reports about a visit by a Hamas delegation led by Abu Marzouq to Saudi Arabia are untrue," Hamas said in a press release on Tuesday.
According to the release, Abu Marzouq is currently in Qatar for undergoing a surgery.
The London-based Al-Araby newspaper earlier reported that arrangements had been underway for a visit by Abu Marzouq to Saudi Arabia.
