Eleven people were killed and 19 others were injured in two suicide attacks in Baghdad on Monday, a senior police source told Anadolu Agency.
“A suicide bomber drove a bomb-laden vehicle into a group of Hashd al-Shaabi [Shia militants] in al-Moshahada district in northeastern Baghdad,” the source said.
The source added that another suicide attack targeted a checkpoint near al-Mothana Bridge in northern Baghdad, leaving six people dead and eight others injured.
Baghdad has been ravaged by a spate of suicide bombings in recent months, for which the authorities have blamed the Daesh terrorist group.
