ANBAR, Iraq
Iraqi authorities imposed a curfew in Ramadi city in the western province of Anbar on Wednesday after multiple attacks by Daesh, police said.
Officials said that Daesh launched seven suicide attacks on the city, leaving at least 10 people dead and 30 wounded.
Iraqi security forces, backed by the U.S.-led international coalition, attempted to repel the attacks.
Clashes between Iraqi forces and Daesh have been ongoing since June 2014 when the armed group seized Mosul and other territories in Iraq.
Daesh is the Arabic acronym for the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, also known as ISIL.
