Jordanian King Abdallah II, for the first time in the country's history, appointed a chief judge and members for the constitutional court.
In a statement released on Sunday, King Abdallah's office said that a decision was taken for the appointment of the chief judge and members for the constitutional court.
The newly appointed chief judge and members of the constitutional court swore in in front of King Abdallah II.
The Jordanian constitutional court was established by a constitutional amendment two years ago.
