At a time when Kyrgyzstan is trying to erase the traces of public revolutions and ethnic tension and overcome economic difficulties, the women of Kyrgyzstan want tranquility and stability.
An Anadolu Agency (AA) correspondent asked the expectations of the Kyrgyz women from different segments of life on the occasion of the March 8 World Women's Day.
A deputy of the Social Democrat Party (SDP) and Chairperson of the Kyrgyz Parliamentary Social Development Committee, Damira Niyazaliyeva stressed that the women of Kyrgyzstan made great contributions to and had great roles in all segments of the society.
"Kyrgyz women working in the Parliament and government make the necessary efforts for the tranquility and stability of the country," Niyazaliyeva said.
I feel sad to see certain segments of the Kyrgyz society constantly using women, Niyazaliyeva noted.
"The Kyrgyz constitution gives equal rights to men and women in terms of freedom of expression. Women should not forget they are moms and that, regardless of they daughters or sons, the health of their children is highly important," Niyazaliyeva stated.
Calling on Kyrgyz women not to be tools of certain politicians who only work on self-interests, Niyazaliyeva underlined that the tranquility and stability in Kyrgyzstan were in the hands of the women.
Chairperson of the Planning, Financial Affairs and Fiscal Management Department at the Kyrgyz Defense Ministry, Venera Aytbayeva said that she only wanted peace, tranquility and stability in Kyrgyzstan.
"I believe that our children would live in a developed country," Aytbayeva stressed.
A police officer with the Bishkek Police, Anara Abdrahmanova indicated that social life began at home and with each member of the family.
"I would like to see Kyrgyzstan in stability and strong from the perspective of economy, culture and security," Abdrahmanova said.
"I am confident that the Kyrgyz women would work in this direction," Abdrahmanova noted.
An adviser for the Rector of the Kyrgyzstan Turkey Manas University (KTMU), Bermet Busurmanova underlined that the Kyrgyz women were not in conditions and situation that they deserved.
"I think that tomorrow will be better for us than today," Busurmanova emphasized.
Reminding that the head of the transitional period following the political incidents three years ago was a woman, Busurmanova underlined that they were really happy to live in Kyrgyzstan.
"Kyrgyzstan attaches high importance to women. God willing, our women will be in conditions and situation they deserve when Kyrgyzstan develops," Busurmanova stated.
A representative working for a Bishkek bookhouse, Anara Suparaliyeva underlined that she wished to see the Kyrgyz people live in peace and the youth live with faith along with good education.
"Young children should be taught to love books. I believe that book readers, whether they are children, adults or youth, will make great contributions to peace and tranquility in Kyrgyzstan," Suparaliyeva said.
Janneta Bobkova, a singer, said she prayed to live in a highly developed Kyrgyzstan.
"I do hope that tranquility, peace, and economic development prevails in Kyrgyzstan," Bobkova indicated.
A correspondent with the ELTR state television, Gulyasir Kalikova said that the women of Kyrgyzstan had crucial roles in politics, social life, economy, culture, education and health.
"If every mother is responsible for her children and her family, tranquility and stability in Kyrgyzstan would be preserved," Kalikova also said.
