LONDON
U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron has said that most people killed in the attack on a Tunisian tourist hotel are British citizens.
Cameron spoke in Downing Street on Saturday after the British government's cabinet meeting over the Tunisian attack where a gunman killed at least 38 people, including eight British citizens Friday.
"These savage terrorist attacks in Tunisia, Kuwait and France are a brutal and tragic reminder of the threat faced around the world from these evil terrorists," he said.
He said that the U.K. would do everything to help the victims. A team of British consular staff, police and experts from the Red Cross would arrive in Tunisia to help the victims and their families, he added.
According to Tunisian interior minister, the attack was carried out by a student from Kairouan city.
The attack comes after 21 foreign tourists were killed in a museum attack on March 18, 2015, at the hands of two armed militants.
