Ramin Mehmanparast mentioned that they were always in favor of carrying out negotiations regarding their nuclear programme and they were carrying out negotiations within the framework of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT).
Mehmanparast reminded nuclear energy for peace purposes was a legal right according to the related international law and said that USA and other western countries should respect Iran's right to do so. He also said, "We are ready to remove issues of concern. When our right of acquiring nuclear energy is recognized, all issues will be resolved."
Mehmanparast stated, "USA who is preventing denuclearizing in the Middle East and some other countries are violating the NPT."
