Abu Sahin, a commander of Free Syrian Army (FSA), has claimed that the opposition groups gained control of 50 percent of Aleppo.
Speaking to AA correspondent, Sahin said that the clashes between al-Assad's army and FSA in Syria's economic hub, Aleppo were continuing.
Stating that FSA was taking new crucial positions in the city, "A real war is taking place in the city. We are fighting back with light weapons against artillery," said Sahin.
Syrian army is using any kind of artillery to take control of Salah al-Din neighborhood back, but they failed, stated Sahin.
Indicating that FSA confiscated the regime's military vehicles and ammunitions, Sahin claimed that the opposition groups gained control of 50 percent of Aleppo.
