ISLAMABAD
Pakistan's government on Wednesday rejected the country's former President General Pervez Musharraf's request for permission to leave the country to visit his ill mother in a Dubai hospital.
Pakistan's Interior Ministry informed Musharraf of the decision made by the cabinet, an interior ministry official told Anadolu Agency.
Earlier, a special court trying Musharraf for treason requested the government make the decision about whether the former army chief should be removed from an Exit Control List used for restricting individuals from leaving the country.
