The defending Ukrainian Premier League champions Shakhtar Donetsk's headquarters was occupied by armed insurgents Wednesday.
The Ukrainian giants' official website confirmed the occupation and reported that the incident is being investigated.
Shakhtar Donetsk saw its stadium, the Donbass arena, hit by two blasts amid clashes between the Ukrainian army and pro-Russian separatists last month.
In addition, the Donetsk club's training premises were hit by two shells destroying a restroom and gym completely last Saturday.
Managed by Romanian Head Coach Mircea Lucescu, Shakhtar Donetsk -- nicknamed "Hirnyky" (the Miners) are playing their home games in the western city of Lviv this season because of the crisis in Ukraine.
Unrest in eastern Ukraine has torn the region apart since April, when the government launched "anti-terror" operations against armed separatists seeking to break away from Ukraine following the annexation of Crimea by Russia in March.
Pro-Russian separatists still hold control of wide regions in eastern Ukraine, although the army is gradually regaining territory.
At least 500 people have been killed since pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine declared their intention to break away from Kiev in March.
