CAIRO (AA) - September 25, 2012 - Syrian National Council (SNC) board member George Sabra has said that they would not accept any proposal of Al-Ahdar al-Ibrahimi, UN and Arab League Special Representative for Syria, unless he adopts a resolution on end of the massacres immediately.
Sabra told AA correspondent on Tuesday that the Chairman of the SNC, Abdulbasit Seyda, was set to go to New York along with council member Riyad Seyf to attend the UN General Assembly and the Syria quartet summit and pass UN the message that they would not accept any political initiative unless bloodshed in Syria stopped immediately.
In response to a news in several media outlets that Seyda would attend the meetings in New York as the" Official Representative of Syria", Sabra said they wished they were the official representatives of the country but there was no UN resolution regarding that.
He asked "why was there a silence when the Chief Commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards stated that there were Iranian forces fighting in Syria?" and added that Syrian administration would continue the bombings until the country would turn to a dead body.
