ANKARA
Turkey welcomed the decision of Arab League giving Syrian National Coalition the seat of Syria at the League.
Turkey's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced Thursday that they were glad that SNC would be the only representative at the Arab League and was invited to the next Arab League summit as the representative for Syria that would be held on March 26-27 in Qatar.
The ministry said the decision taken was very appropriate to consolidate SNC's position and an important and meaningful message to Assad regime.
Ministry congratulated Arab League for its decision and hoped it would set a model for other international agencies.
