WASHINGTON
Major winter storm “Hercules” is continuing to shake northeastern US, thus far killing nine people.
The snow started Thursday evening, affecting Washington capital and other provinces including New York and Boston. Air temperature fell to -20 degrees Celcius at the early hours of Friday, while the speed of the wind reached to 80 kilometers.
Around 2,400 flights have been cancelled throughout the US due to heavy weather conditions, which is also expected to continue at the weekend.
