DAMASCUS (AA) - March 28, 2013 - A total of 111 people were killed on Wednesday in operations Assad forces staged in several cities of Syria.
According to the Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR), a London-based group that tracks civilian and rebel casualties, Assad forces killed 39 in the suburbs of capital Damascus, 22 in Homs, 19 in Daraa, 11 in Idlib, 10 in Aleppo, 6 in Deir al-Zor, 2 in Hama and Idlib, one each in Latakia and Tartus, so in total of 111 people died due to air backed operations.
Furthermore, local activists in Quneitra said, 170 regime soldiers in the region left the Syrian army and joined Free Syrian Army (FSA).
