Up to 25 people have been killed, including women and children, after Syrian army helicopters attacked areas in Aleppo under Syrian opposition control with barrel bombs, according to opposition sources.
The helicopters bombed the areas of Meadi, Kadi Askeri, Mesekin Hananu, Besatin Kusur and old Aleppo, Yasir Ahmed, the media officer for the Local Coordination Committees of Syria Aleppo, told Anadolu Agency on Monday.
Ahmed said dozens of people were injured in the attacks by the Syrian regime.
