STOCKHOLM (AA) - September 2, 2012 - Abdelbasset Sayda, leader of the Syrian National Council, held meetings with Swedish leaders in Stockholm on Saturday.
Sayda told AA that Sweden would extend nearly two million euro through the UN to help Syrian refugees who escaped from the violence in their country.
Expressing pleasure over the decision of Sweden, Sayda said that Sweden would also provide medicines, ambulance, mobile kitchen and some technological assistance.
Sayda has been in Stockholm for two days.
