Turkey's newly appointed ambassador in Baku presented his diplomatic credentials to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Tuesday.
Aliyev received Ambassador Ismail Alper Coskun who conveyed greetings of Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Coskun expressed pleasure over being appointed as ambassador to Azerbaijan, and said that he would exert efforts for further development of the relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan.
Aliyev said that a recent meeting of Turkey-Azerbaijan High-Level Strategic Partnership Council was held successfully and gave important results, and he stressed that the relations between the two countries would develop more in coming years.
