GAZIANTEP
The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Antonio Guterres arrived on Thursday in southeastern province of Gaziantep to visit Syrians' camps.
Deputy Director General of Foreign Ministry Immigration, Defection and Visa Directorate, Engin Yurur, and Turkey Representative of UNHCR Carol Batchelor welcomed Guterres at the Gaziantep Airport.
Speaking to reporters at the airport, Guterres praised Turkey's taking care of Syrian people who are currently staying in the camps in the southern Turkey after fleeing violence in Syria.
Meanwhile, UNCHR Special Envoy Angelina Jolie is expected to be in Gaziantep on Thursday.
Guterres and Jolie will visit the Syrians' camps in the provinces of Gaziantep and Kilis.
