ANKARA (AA) - The US Department of State designated Wednesday Bulut Yayla, a Turkish member of DHKP/C, as terrorrist under executive order, which targets terrorists and those providing support to terrorists or acts of terrorism.
As a result of this designation, all property subject to US jurisdiction, in which Yayla has any interest is blocked and any assets he may have under US jurisdiction are frozen.
In addition to Yayla’s designation, US Department of State has also reviewed the foreign terrorist organization designation of the DHKP/C, following group's carrying out the February 1 suicide bombing on the US Embassy in Ankara, Turkey.
