Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro said he was discharged from hospital on Wednesday morning two days after he was admitted with intestinal blockage.
Sharing photos with doctors on Twitter, Bolsonaro confirmed his discharge and thanked those who took care of him.
The president, who had been on vacation in the southern state of Santa Catarina, was rushed to the Vila Nova Star Hospital in Sao Paulo with intestinal blockage on Monday. The doctors said he would not require a surgery.
Bolsonaro has underwent four surgeries due to stabbing he suffered during a 2018 election campaign event.
