Supermodel Cindy Crawford’s son Presley Gerber dies at 27

Presley Gerber, the 27-year-old son of US supermodel Cindy Crawford, has died, celebrity website TMZ reported Sunday.

According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, Gerber died Sunday at a rehabilitation facility. An autopsy had not been completed, and no cause of death was immediately disclosed.

Allie Jenkins, a representative for Crawford and Gerber’s father, businessman Rande Gerber, confirmed his death to TMZ and said the family was asking for privacy during what she described as a “very difficult and painful time.”

Gerber was the only son of Crawford and Rande Gerber and the older brother of model and actress Kaia Gerber. He began modeling as a teenager after signing with IMG Models at the age of 15 and later appeared in campaigns and runway shows for brands including Calvin Klein and Dolce & Gabbana.

Gerber was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in California in January 2019. He was later sentenced to three years of probation, a DUI program and two days of community service, according to TMZ.
