ANKARA
The Foreign Ministry late on Sunday condemned terror attacks in Afghanistan that left many police officers dead.
In a written statement, the ministry said: "We learned with sorrow that various attacks resulted in of lives of many police officers and left many others wounded in Kunduz, Zabul, and Ghazni provinces of Afghanistan."
"We condemn these terrorist attacks, Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives, speedy recovery to the wounded, and convey our condolences to the brotherly Government and people of Afghanistan," the statement added.
On Sunday militants stormed a number of check posts in Afghanistan and the Taliban have claimed responsibility for the attacks.
