ANKARA
The Anadolu Agency will release its annual almanac, comprised of 2014’s most important events in both Turkey and around the world, in the first week of the New Year.
The book will be published in Turkish, English and Arabic as part of the agency's centennial vision to become one of the top five news agencies in the world by 2020.
The 2014 almanacs, which have been prepared by experienced editors, cover the year's most important developments in Turkey, Asia, Europe, Africa and America.
The Almanac 2014 covers both national and global events ranging from politics to culture to economics. The developments are set out in chronological order from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2014.
In the last section, the almanac also includes the AA's best photos of the year, which were chosen through online voting. The photos were taken by AA photojournalists over the past year and were published by leading media companies across the world.
A promotional video of the almanac can be seen on the AA’s official website and YouTube channel.
